I am for an informal veto whilst we have client teams with greater than one third market share. I also want to improve client diversity so this can be removed. https://ethereum-magicians.org/t/pectra-retrospective/22637/2

I see where you are going with this, i'll have to consider this overloading of client choice. I would hate for operators to have to choose between a client they favor for technical/diversity reasons, and one they align with better for the roadmap. 🤔

EOF was scheduled for inclusion in Pectra despite Geth being strongly against. I was really surprised. Which is why I’d like to see an informal veto. But if it caused weird incentives then rough consensus shouldn’t take it into account.
