will the upcoming changes to channels lead you to cast more without a channel?

curious how this change will alter your casting, if at all.

i def can see that as a deterrent for trying to explore channels.  seems it also hurts smaller channels looking to grow and promote with rounds etc. and requires moderators to spend more time trying to manage vs grow. hmmm. tbd

i don't really think it'll affect users that have an established account already. They'll get in invite link one way or the other. The big problem is newer people, imagine you just join this app and you try and cast in different channels & every time you do it says 'You need to be invited to this channel to cast in it'

i can see that. def creates more mgmt oversight from channel owners too. 🤔

It’s genuinely going to affect newer accounts and smaller accounts tbh 
I might be wrong though 

Upcoming channel changes

We're *previewing* some upcoming changes so people 1) can understand and 2) provide feedback.

These changes are not launching yet. It will be a couple weeks. There will also be a bunch of communication to channel owners.

I think exploring new channels will be a thing of the past

For newer accounts definitely but let’s see how it plays out

For me, it doesn’t really change much at the moment

I like sticking my casts in the channels, so I’ll just keep doing that for now 🤷‍♂️🎙️

yea i guess. without access to some channels at some point, would seem like i have to cast it without a channel.
