Is anyone identifying bot/farmer accounts to determine natural churn rate vs. extreme subscription volatility?

I had ~800 subs, now under 200. 

We need to understand the real user volume to adjust accounts accordingly so channels trying to deliver value can sustain this drastic change.

Great points. You can see here that the total number of users with subscriptions hasn’t changed much, but the total number of subscriptions has been really volatile. From deeper inspection you can see that lots of people who had 400-1000+ subscriptions cancelled a large number. dune.com/queries/3709...

reading your suggestion I wonder if it would be useful to add a follower score to assess the quality of subscribers between mercenary (max subscribing) and considered (few subs)? 

that might give a more accurate picture of your income and their chances of sticking with the channel even if farming conditions change
