FYI - this is the book Lex mentions but yet curiously doesn’t take any initiative to mention the subjects within or demonstrate having internalized any of its content during his interview with Zelensky.

Zelensky’s comments re: Budapest are particularly damning and I think history will justifiably not be kind to the people who decided to ignore it. Also his comment when Lex said Putin loves his people. 😂 Lex recommends people read Plokhy’s Gates of Europe but it seems like he himself hasn’t, which is likely given how much time he spends daydreaming about Trump and Elon

Ok so takeaways. Zelensky is a heroic, articulate leader who clearly is acting in the best interest of Ukrainians, Europe, democracy and global security, while Lex is quite plainly a selfish moron. Lex blabbers about "his dream" for peace, but not even once does he consider Ukrainian desires. Selfish apologist asshat.
