Yeah, that was a really cool moment. And I think this comment of his really makes sense in a lot of ways...you can end up really off-course if you spend your time doing what other people say you should be doing. Trusting my own instincts and inner critic usually gets me where I want to end up.

Yes. π€ Criticism is so important. How we perceive and take it in is an artform. (I'd say the same of being in the position of the 'critic' during critique as well). However, Artists must always follow their intuition and instincts. I loved remembering that space. There were some bangers with greats back then.
