How does anyone actually do social media it’s overwhelming at times

My life is a purposeless void and the scroll is an opiate to distract from my lack of meaning. It's easier than confronting the reality that I'm an old lonely lady I'll tell you that much!

My relationship to the internet at this point is very obviously unhealthy, but it also keeps me fed, and every friend that I have is in my phone. I am going so MENTAL though that I suspect before long I am going to just Quit Everything for a Long Walk, like the Applachian Trail or the Camino

Really hope I can do the Appalachian someday
