Was thinking about the code I wrote today. Realized there was an easier, simpler implementation on my train ride back home. Anyone else just have their code in their head all the time?

All the time. I usually have an open editor in my brain, solve what I’m working on entirely in my head, then just type it out when I’m at the keyboard later.

Literally did that here. Wrote the code in my head, got home, ate dinner, showered, and then typed it up in ten minutes.
