As we head into our final week of trade for the year, it feels like the perfect time to reflect on what has been a crazy and unforgettable year since we opened our doors on 1st February, 2024. In less than twelve months, we’ve welcomed over 45,000 guests – averaging around 870 guests per week. And that’s not counting the 4,500 DoorDash orders sent out, each one leaving the kitchen proudly donning the Noggles.
Building this business was never just about serving food. From day one, we set out to bridge the gap, break down barriers, and embody the core pillars we believe define the DAO. Here’s how we’ve done so far: we’ve minted 5 Deli CC0 recipes, 6 pieces of deli art, and 2 Better Between Bread episodes, racking up nearly 2,000 mints. Collaborating with some of the biggest names in NFTs – including Chimpers, Deadfellaz, and Blockz – allowing us to introduce Nouns Deli and the DAO to other NFT communities. 1 reply

Beyond the deli walls, we’ve had the privilege of catering 8 external events for brands such as Coinbase, Pudgy Oceania, CoinTree, FireBlocks, and Variety. Our partnership with UpsideDAO has also positioned us in front of some of Melbourne’s most established Web3 companies, opening doors for exciting catering opportunities and collaborations.
But the biggest highlights of the year has been giving back. We’re incredibly proud to have raised over $6000 for charity and completed 5 ‘Doing Good’ activations with organisations like Ronald McDonald House, FareShare, and FoodBank. These initiatives have helped families across Melbourne who need it most and have allowed us to give back to the community in meaningful ways.
It’s been a wild, rewarding, and humbling first year at Nouns Deli. We’re proud of what we’ve achieved and incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported us along the way. With exciting plans already in motion, we can’t wait to see what 2025 has in store.
