The Unwritten Rules of Farcaster: Cast A Lot*

When the Warpcast team says: Cast a lot* to be successful and be eligible for airdrops and rewards, that’s a huge oversimplification. 

There’s a BIG asterisk in there that’s invisible, but important understand. You need to cast things that are going to get engagement. Casting for castings sake isn’t going to work out in your favor. 

75-80% of casts on Farcaster get zero engagement. That means no likes, no comments, and no recasts. This is bad.

tl;dr

Warpcast team says to “cast a lot*” to succeed—but the * matters. 

Spamming low-engagement posts won’t help; 75-80% of casts get ignored. 

To win on Warpcast (and qualify for rewards/airdrops), your content needs engagement.

🔹 Prioritize quality over quantity—engagement beats sheer volume.
🔹 If your casts get zero interaction, rethink your approach.
🔹 Not a creator? Be a curator—share valuable content with context.
🔹 Text-based posts perform best, even for art—add a story or insight.
🔹 Warpcast rewards interaction and experimentation. Adapt, engage, and play the game.

Don’t want to? You don’t have to. Farcaster is open and infinite. Use another client. Ignore all of this.

I'm curious Pichi, why I have 590+ followers on Farquest app and on here I keep seeing 270+ 🤔


Some responses are hiding from me and not all reactions are notified! Hell, some post don't even show they were reaction on em if I check through farquest I see them but on warpcast, it's a no-no 🤔

It’s due to spam labels. You won’t see reactions from folks with Level 1 or 0. 

And 0’s don’t count toward your follower count.
