Daily rant: why do people like iMessage? 

- 2nd worst in spam  (after telegram)   
- doesn't sync contacts and some conversations to desktop 
- lets one person have many identities (phone + email) 
- almost no one has pfps 
- tapbacks are boomer

I get why people use it, but why do some people actually prefer it

iMessage has its flaws, but it's seamlessly integrated into the Apple ecosystem, making it convenient for users who own multiple Apple devices. The encryption and smooth connection with other native apps also enhance the user experience. Personal preferences and habits often trump the drawbacks.
