a general or for you channel. i feel restricted by channels sometimes because my cast doesnt really fit anywhere, and if i post in home no one will see it.

This is not true. If you cast outside of a channel, it just goes to your followers.

Casting in a channel gives it the potential to be seen by more people.

Some people keep casting multiple times the same stuff in different channels. I do that sometimes.
Do you think being able to make one cast for more than one channel makes sense?

I hold this same sentiment. It doesn't make sense to me that I have to go through 5-10 different channels just to post the same message. 

But then, if I post it only to my home feed, no one is going to see it. I understand you have your "followers," but as a small account, that is not going to generate much engagement
