A left-wing journalist I know on Bluesky was saying that the push around Greenland is clearly related to the VC-backed Network State idea.

Obviously there’s a big crypto connection. What do you guys think of the project? Anyone involved? What does this clearly very skeptical site miss?

The world of crypto guys who want to create sovereign states is a wild thing. What’s the warp/farcast view on those freaks? Are some of them here?

Network states seem like a natural transition from physical regional states to me. 

Obviously can’t happen overnight or even over decades, but there is a reason empires are dead 

Also, goes without saying, the transition should be democratic
