TLDR: +500k DEGEN of the 4.5M total is lost per day due to over-staking. See Dune query below. 👇🏼

Currently if you stake more DEGEN than is needed for a 10k allowance the excess allowance is still allocated to you. You are just not able to tip it so these DEGEN are lost.

A better way would be to distribute these excess $DEGEN to the stakers who have <10k allowances.

Since some over-stake Degen, part of the tip allowance pool becomes unavailable to everyone. Any ideas on a fair way to distribute those locked tip allowances to both over-stakers and other users? Someone staking a few million Degen should get some perks. We’d love to hear your thoughts!

Here is some additional info for ppl:
1) Currently ~400k $DEGEN are "lost" daily.
2) This is 100k less than 24h ago and 200k less than 36h ago.
3) "Lost" only means that this amount will remain available for future airdrops. Sorry for any confusion.

My personal take:
This problem will most likely solve itself by a growing pool size because more ppl naturally drop below the 10k mark.
