i really do not understand this push for embedded wallets or smartwallets by the coinbase cabal.

it’s counter intuitive.

a global wallet address is what makes the onchain experiences stand out. ownership. self custody. identity. ens.

i dare anyone to show me embedded wallet churn data.

and i am curious to hat studies were made that show why anyone would prefer a smartwallet over the excellent coinbase wallet.

the friction in onboarding the next 1bn users was never a wallet problem.

Coinbase Smart Wallet definitely aims to be your global wallet, 1 wallet that you re-use for everything.

The 'smart' part just enables better UX.
- getting rid of seed phrases
- sign with biometrics/passkeys
- use of paymasters to get rid of tx fees
- session keys
- ...
