What's the thoughts on Three Body Problem Netflix adaptation?

I’m very much looking forward to it. I loved GoT despite its flaws, and I really enjoyed the Remembrance of Earth’s Past books.

GoT was great. Hope they can hit something great here. As a fan of the books, what's your opinion on  some of the character swaps and apparent displacement of certain key events? It seems like some of book 2 will be in this first season.

Honestly I’m an eternal optimist, so I trust they are doing it for good reason. I also have a terrible memory, so I probably won’t even notice the changes. It was the same for Wheel of Time lol.

Yea I'm pretty similar. I'm going into it hopeful it's good. I'm fresh off the first two books in this past year and currently on the 3rd. So I guess the swaps are more jarring. But I get it that they have to change an almost full Chinese cast to something more western to fit the audience.
