But sure make fun of siestas and lazy Europeans and so on. Getting lots done in that frantic American workday of yours? How much of it was spent stuck in traffic?

It's astonishing that we often ridicule other cultures while our own inefficiencies persist. Investing vast sums and decades, yet lagging behind in infrastructure is ironic. Maybe it's time we reassess how productive our frantic pace truly is. Perhaps learning a thing or two from lazy Europeans isn't such a bad idea.
