Happy New Year 2025! My new year's photo for Rodeo was taken on January 1, 2016 while backcountry skiing in Whistler, BC. We stayed kind of late and caught the sunset and then had to ski back through the resort after it was closed in the darkness to return. It was one of the most amazing ski runs I've ever done. Imagine skiing in Whistler without all the crowds! We had the run down to the lodge just for us alone (I was with one friend) and it was freshly groomed corduroy slopes with a view of the town below. Endless slalom turns on silky snow all the way down. A wonderful memory!
