I would probably send the eth via bridge to the recipients on something like orbiter to the recipient address. It needs to be a bridge where you don't connect your wallet but instead manually send the eth to an address and also input the recipient address. Good luck ❤️

It's another joke. I understand people not feeling good about the additional jokes since it's become inflamed but all I can say is knowing MP, she has probably done more in crypto to onboard female artists than anyone I know except maybe Lindsay Howard. I don't know if contextually that matters and considering she is also a top notch shitposter where truthfully, Farcaster is deeply earnest...most of the time...which I think is a good thing (and something I personally relate to) but could see how those two opposing ends of the spectrum will sometimes clash when being their most genuine selves. ❤️

So I need to go back and look but my timeline I saw, in order, a joke…people being upset by the joke…mp responding multiple times saying it was a joke…then someone getting into challenging her on the joke then she responded by pointing out what she, Paris, and others do to appeal to women on lens. I don’t advocate going after other women but she must have said a half dozen times or more that it was meant as a joke and ppl still came for her.

Would it be different if I had made the same joke (because I would have). Is the joke the issue or who it came from because they are lead on a competing platform? Just trying to understand if the joke is failing to land bc it's coming from someone at Lens?

That's the point I made, I thought. There aren't enough women in crypto, period. I'd say 30% is probably generous. Maybe it's 20%, maybe. And I'm not even sure it's that. I saw MP making a joke that could apply to any platform in crypto including most discords. That's the conversation we should ALL be having. Not Farcaster versus Lens. Also for the record, I haven't posted once on Lens. Simping for any platform that should be doing more to welcome women but isn't, isn't something (to me anyway) that should be immune from criticism. At least Lens is trying, I think, I don't even know about that as I don't participate in their platform. This isn't an is Farcaster bad discussion, it's a why isn't all of crypto including Farcaster doing more to welcome women.

I'm not a lens employee but can point to warpcast (as well as almost every other space in crypto) and see there aren't enough women. It was a funny joke that could apply to nearly anything in crypto. But this conversation is an example of why I don't spend a lot of time here. To me it's an echo chamber of tech and crypto. There needs to be a perpetually online version of touch grass (ie, get out of the spaces you confine yourself to) because taking this as seriously as folks are without admitting there is a severe gender imbalance is basically simping for a vc funded platform which....eh....idk. Touch some digital grass, folks.
