I too caved this week and upgraded.

Of all the things I subscribe to, I use YT the most and yet never even considered subbing. The vids with 4+ ads in them caused me to rethink, and I quickly realized how silly it was not to pay, the experience is 10x

The more ads they added over the last decade the more I resisted.

I also resisted because I couldn’t background it without the video stopping. You have to actively engineer that.
