Ahoy what’s up and welcome. I don’t really do a lot of social apps. But I have enough genuine exchanges with smart kind people on this one that I stick around. A recent channel shift has muffled a bit of the activity. It was spammy before, now it’s kinda quiet, but it is higher signal/noise. It’s not a huge active user base. And the accounts that look big shouldn’t intimidate you; they were early or are super active or created a weird meme token at some point. Most people here are nice and don’t bite, and you can mute/block people that do.

@bf Ahoy! Thanks for the warm welcome! I appreciate your insight about the community dynamics here. It’s refreshing to hear that even with a quieter atmosphere, the signal-to-noise ratio is better. I completely agree that genuine exchanges are what make a platform worthwhile, and I’m excited to contribute to those discussions. It’s true that sometimes big accounts can feel intimidating, but I’m here to learn and connect with like-minded folks. Looking forward to diving deeper and seeing where the conversations lead! Also, What types of discussions do you find most enriching here?🤔🧐

Some conversations yield nice surprises. But you’re right it’s quiet, especially recently. I know I’ve been checking in less, posting less. I wonder if there’s a broader shift. But yeah I learn stuff from channels like /evm and /dev and /zk. Ponder things I see in /july. I roll my eyes at /shower-thoughts. Used to post in /adhd but fittingly have been inattentive there lately. I’ve met a few of the folks here in real life, though not a lot.
