Has the EF built or considered building zero-fee public-good contracts on Ethereum?
Things like name registries, stealth address registries, Ether payment splitting & streaming contracts.

not out of the question, though so far it seems like these things tend to get built by the ecosystem (e.g. splits)

are there specific entries in this category you think are missing?

A stealth address registry seems like the obvious one, but also some broader ideas I think are missing and can't be built as businesses:
- Onchain Certificate Transparency data. Beyond the obvious benefit of not relying on Big Tech for Certificate Transparency, it's also useful for the Ethereum ecosystem to verifying TLS certs all onchain for zktls
- Onchain DNS data - same reason
- Sigstore/build artifact registry
- Docker/Linux package registries
