Simple guy who paid 3 times to get a Farcaster account. I occasionally write.

It's real. But keep in mind that it's experimental. Right now the payouts are negligible, and it's not clear how sustainable the WC rewards will be over the long term.

That said, FC loves journalists. If you find you can write here more often, you'll be warmly welcomed.

I would love to write here often regardless of the rewards. Just want to connect and find interesting people so I can learn more in life.

Sounds like you're in the right place, then. FC is chock full of interesting people. It's far better on that measure than anywhere else I've seen. It's still small enough to make real connections and friendships without getting lost in the shuffle, but it's also big enough to get at least some of the quality casts seen widely (especially if they're boosted by the OGs).
