Chris Rock once said: “I love being famous… it is almost like being white.” As silly and funny as it sounds, I had my little Chris Rock moment this week on Farcaster with: — 30,000+ views — 600+ likes — 100+ recasts… You guys are PURE mental. I simply asked a question and then @dwr recasted it. Next morning I woke up watching so many notifications almost feeling like Chris Rock on stage — minus the talent and million of dollars in my bank. Then I looked in the mirror and slapped myself back to reality — not as hard as Will Smith slapped Chris Rock though. That slap still echoes through space-time. Anyway, to everyone who liked, commented, and recasted? THANK YOU. In many ways, you have activated a part of my brain, unlocked the curiosity department, and left me thinking that behind EVERY notification is a REAL person spreading kindness. Love that! I HATE re-logging into Farcaster but when I do? I do two things: 1) I check my feed 2) I check @samuellhuber.eth's profile My feed is a chaotic mix — with degens shilling links, memes, and Farcaster updates from @v and @dwr.eth. Then I go through @samuellhuber.eth. This guy is a machine — always sharing, cooking something new, and making incredible moves. I have been watching him for the last couple of weeks. In fact, last week he released this: https://dtech.vision/farcaster/start/ What an exhaustive guide for anyone who wants to build on Farcaster. But this is what gets me: Samuel runs a development studio specializing in Farcaster frames and yet shares this guide for free — empowering everyone to build their own frames — is actually pretty dope. Samuel isn't just building for himself. He is also enabling everyone to build better. This is growth mindset — something I wish to adopt in 2025. #thoughts #lessons

This is really cool. All the developers have an edge — and a reason to push quality frames on this platform. Farcaster feels like what Steemit / Hive was for content creators but for developers. Would be nice to something meaningful out there for creators as well. Been so long now!

Such a wonderful initiative. Logged into Warpcast to find this. Publicly tagging @ted as I enjoy writing. In fact, over a decade ago, I started writing anything and everything. Then I launched blogs — generated views — and turned into a full-time blogger. It was one of my best experience ever. The reason is simple: writing made me think deeply. Not only was I serving my audience but also learning a lot along the way — understanding myself and the world around me. Just a couple of months ago, I decided to restart writing for the crypto founders. It has been an exciting experience so far. Definitely willing to write more and more in the coming days!

I hate Twitter. In fact, today I was exploring Farcaster. Then I realized I am no longer active here. Reason was simple: I was active on Twitter every single day. HOWEVER, last month Twitter suspended my account. Conversations, DMs, and even connections... All of them GONE just like that. First time in 13 years. To make it even worse? I bought ONE YEAR of Twitter Premium before the ban. Even the reason for the ban is weird. I wrote a "hateful" comment which wasn't hate at all. It was simply my experience with FTX (the crypto exchange that went bankrupt). Censorship is a real problem. Maybe the algorithm did what it felt right. That's perfectly fine if they heard my appeal. But nobody does that. Even after filing 10+ times a request to unsuspend my account? Nobody cares. A quick search and I can see thousands of accounts facing the same issue. In short: this sucks. Then today it hit me — wait, we have Farcaster. Perhaps its time to be active here again. Time will tell!

Looks like neynar.com, as per their website, "is the easiest way to build" on Farcaster. As a non-technical guy, I am exploring this. It does cost $9. But use this code — Framebuilder — to save $8 for the first month. Just an experiment.

This is such a superb frame. Imagine filling out a job application easily and quickly. All through Farcaster. This frame led me to explore @interestedfyi — early stage but looks good as a job portal.
