post-reading jonathan haidt, time to play devil's advocate current web2 social: like/reply-performance algo -> increased unhealthy social comparison -> increased anxiety, polarization, depression the core design elements of most web3 social is $, which can bring out even worse in people and this is good? discuss :)

economic models in web2 have strongly relied on ads and hence sucking attention from people which has caused negative effects "hope" with web3 is that there are newer economic incentives that are unlocked that are better aligned with users
