when i touch the search icon i am not given opportunity to enter search term it triggers the error

should have been clearer, its not a search input, it tries to extract the content from the cast you use it on

Yes, the cast gives an impression it is a search input! And seems lot of us are waiting such a tool😅 Now it is clear
