two thoughts

- changing your opinion should be appreciated and even celebrated; the only people who will get mad about you changing an opinion are fixed mindset mids (mostly)

- optimizing for fun should be encouraged because it can mean optimizing for wealth; never fun to lose money (v different than spending money)

for the changing your opinion, I think this is so true when it is done for good reasons, I know friends who change their opinions and stances based on what their partner likes, for example, and when the 'partner' changes, they change their opinion again, and this is very bad."
