Foursquare 2.0 Mobile app Sign in with Farcaster Map Check in with free form text to start + gps, clean up data later if you get some traction Thumbs up or thumbs down rating “What’s the best thing on the menu?” Don’t store anything on Hubs, just start as a database app and use Farcaster for social graph and lightweight distribution If you build a solid prototype, I’ll spend time mentoring.

I would LOVE to build this, but I feel GMaps is way too good already. I like the idea of having channels to have different "layers" of apps. What would be the main added value to drive adoption in your opinion?

IIRC Foursquare (it's been years since I used it) was more about food, whereas Google Maps is nowadays for all businesses (food businesses included). Plus, it's also terribly spammy. There's an opportunity to use Farcaster data to indicate the likelihood of the checkin being from a legit user.
