we should simultaneously: - build out $nouns so anyone can get exposure - fund 100x more builders at smaller amounts and measure how many of their supporters buy $nouns / contribute to nouns economy if that leads to new energy in > energy out, we scale i just don't think we can justify most $100k+ props without clear attribution back to auction bids anymore

buying $nouns and bidding in the auction are apposite actions, so it seems fair to achieve one or another. especially if we bet on wider exposure through $nouns getting exposure to anyone via $nouns sounds great and makes sense to me, but I'm not sure it’s also true funding at smaller amounts—why is it better funding 100x more at 100x smaller amounts?

my thinking goes: huge proposals might cast a wide enough attention net to grab one or two auction bidders smaller grants where we fund 100x the number of builders ideally gets a deeper level of exposure one larger prop would reach. it's much more grass roots which I think is a more personalized way to onboard people. eg: instead of seeing the nouns float on TV you see a group of awesome folks cleaning up your neighborhood park and having a meal together. which one makes you want to buy $nouns more?

i agree and think we are on the same page (need a better definition of “smaller funding”), but I'm afraid there's a growing need for the opposite and funding very few people to do massive things to get attention (maybe it's only a wrong perception)
