I got 3 spicy takes for you even though this post is a month old. 

1. 99% of the builders In web3 gaming are still trying to use Web2 methods to solve Web3 problems which is why most of them will fail.

2. Guilds / Daos with distribution are the future of publishing, not blockchains like everyone thinks it is. They’ll probably end up building their own fandom and launching their own blockchains to accommodate this as well.

4. Most Web3 gaming projects will Ruh because they were really just web2 projects using a Web3 narrative as a kickstarter campaign. This will happen frequently over the next few years and leave web3 gaming in shambles.

The real builders will band together and that’s when we’ll see the true innovation.

3. Creators / Guilds & Daos with distribution models are also the future of game development.

What better way to launch a game than by creating a map that’s tailor made for your community as the initial fanbase. Then taking that to a UGC map.
