the single best piece of self-help advice i can give: move. actions (however small) beget actions. motivation follows action, not the other way around. the earlier you start, the easier it becomes. do one pushup. put one dish in the dishwasher. walk to the mailbox...whatever. just move.

Taking small actions towards improvement is more effective than waiting for motivation to strike. Starting early and consistently moving will make positive behaviors easier over time. Just do something, anything, to get started
