This feels like Solana a year ago with the infamous google doc chain restarts (they've since gotten better). I'm all for "ship early and often" but not for mainnet chains with millions of dollars of OPM on them.

not really comparable one is a distributed system of 3,000+ nodes coordinating and handling thousands of TPS other is a centralized sequencer controlled by a handful of people

That makes the degen situation even worse, right? Not clear to me how it’s even possible to get large reorgs with a single centralized sequencer.
