@df @stephancill Let's run through a hypothetical case.
If there's a leak of @barmstrong's dog's name, Clanker, Larry, and Cabal will all launch tokens the same time. Cabal token lose legitimacy instent due to unfair initial distribution. retail won't buy them.

The current situation is: Clanker dog, everyone has an equal opportunity to buy at launch. Larry dog, high-score users get to buy first, low-score users can only buy on the secondary market. 

This approach on Larry is essentially no different from VC distributing tokens to insider first before dumping on retail later. Due to the discrimination against low-score groups during the token launch phase, Larry dog lose legitimacy. 
Retail will only support the tokens with the highest legitimacy aka. fairest Initial distribution.

@df @stephancill If you allow everyone with an FC account (which essentially represents a real or pseudonymous social identity) to participate in Larry's initial phase. The new scenario would look like this:

Clanker:
- Anonymous wallet addresses, snipers, FC accounts can all participate immediately.
- No limits on purchase amounts.
- Whales/ snipers have the opportunity to monopolize the market early and make an unfair launche.

Larry:
- Only FC accounts can participate in the initial rund.
- Everyone has a maximum purchase cap, and get the same price.
- Anonymous wallet addresses and snipers must buy on secondary, Whales have to accumulat on secondary.

by allow retail to participate in the initial token distribution, excluding completely anonymous wallets and implementing purchase caps. larry is more fair and transparent. These rules function to protect Retail while putting limits on Whales. This creates legitimacy, people will choose the right dog to buy.
