two thoughts - changing your opinion should be appreciated and even celebrated; the only people who will get mad about you changing an opinion are fixed mindset mids (mostly) - optimizing for fun should be encouraged because it can mean optimizing for wealth; never fun to lose money (v different than spending money)

it’s okay to change your opinion if you realize you were wrong most people just don’t like being wrong, or admitting they are wrong
