Thanks to the new Minimized Mini Apps, long-session apps like Audio Chat have finally become more feasible to run directly within Warpcast.
Just like how Twitter Spaces basically replaced Clubhouse, having audio chat features inside a social media app is far more effective for driving traffic and user retention than using a standalone audio chat app. That might even explain why some earlier Farcaster-native audio chat apps faded away.
But now, with the growing power of Mini Apps within Warpcast, there’s real potential to revive those underperforming but necessary, and often quite fun Farcaster ecosystem apps.
We’re already seeing a wave of new Mini Apps popping up: games, AI, tools, DeFi, music, podcast and much more, and there’s definitely a lot more variety on the way. 0 reply
