Yes, indeed. I always thought it would be difficult to surpass Twitter by creating a mere fork of it. I'm delighted to see that Farcaster has introduced numerous innovations instead of blindly imitating Twitter.

Think they mostly lost an opportunity when twitter was going through trouble to just open up their platform, but they didn’t want to grow too fast.
It has got a good amount of users though, and if twitter gets into money trouble it will be a good lifeboat
