Choosing Polygon chain for Lens now seems like a possible mistake.

I wouldn't draw a conclusion. Narratives change fast. L2 sounds good to me. My transfers between Superchain and Polygon are fast as well.

What I actually want to express is not just the gap in the on-chain interaction experience, but also whether this chain has a future, whether it has sufficient liquidity support, and whether there are other ecosystems to complement this social protocol.

That’s a valid concern indeed. I’m not sure how performant Lens, Polygon is and that could be a bottleneck for some use cases - though we’ve seen many design/platform changes before. And there’s likely also not much stopping Lens apps from integrating & connecting to Zora NFTs, Arbitrum liquidity etc.?

I say this because Farcaster has the advantage of seamlessly integrating with the Basechain ecosystem and collaborating with projects backed by Coinbase Ventures and a16z. This creates a powerful ecosystem that Lens, on a less attention-focused chain, lacks.
