As a long-time Farcaster user, I built Scout to stay better connected to my favorite casters. It’s an RSS-like iPhone and iPad app with organized feeds, offline access, and on-device search—no wallet required.

scoutreader.app is definitely one of the most interesting Farcaster clients I’ve come across, especially for someone like me who enjoys exploring social media. It’s clean, smooth, and allows users to select accounts of interest and use advanced filters to create a focused feed.

In terms of custom feeds, if aims to become even more powerful, it could consider borrowing ideas from some well-executed clients. For example, @buoy offers more filtering options like keywords, while Bluesky clients allow users to create multiple feeds (even programmable) and share them.

That being said, I’m happy to see Scout’s launch and the innovative efforts behind it. Looking forward to more!
