Why does technological progress need to be accelerated? It seems to be that (most) of today’s problems are primarily issues of coordination and vision. 

re: VB, I respect and appreciate Vitalik’s willingness to state his priorities and work toward them.

What I really mean is not that we should hasten technological progress, but that we've inevitably entered a cycle of technological acceleration.

I agree with Nick Srnicek’s leftist accelerationism, which seeks to unlock latent productive forces without dismantling neoliberal platforms—just redirecting them for public use. This involves coordination challenges, which many, including myself, hope to resolve in the crypto world.
