It's a weird dynamic for sure.

Some people I am more comfortable with NOT talking to for long periods of time.

I don't know what it is.

But some of the people that I talk to the least are some of my best acquaintances, also.

I mean...yeah. That makes sense. You're not wrong. I definitely don't think the same rules apply here by any means. Which is what makes it odd. You don't log in to a social media site for 2 days and everyone assumes you died or rugged. 🤣 🤣 🤣

I am the same way with some of my best friends in real life. But, we can always catch up like we never left off. 

Here, things are a bit different. I try not to continue commenting on someone's casts if they don't ever acknowledge it.
