Long-time artist here, but totally unfamiliar with the ins and outs of plotter art. I really love the aesthetic and have been fascinated by the works I find here on FC. If you were to recommend a starter kit or other 0 → 1 setup, what would you recommend getting/learning?

I'd say, check out the OGs from Bantam. They bought out https://www.evilmadscientist.com/2024/bantam-tools-artframe and introduced a bunch of new products. But they came out with the original https://axidraw.com/ systems back in the day. https://store.bantamtools.com/collections/bantam-tools-nextdraw
