Normcore showed up in 2008 and never really went away which, though sloppy, makes being a tourist in New York much easier. I need big white orthopedic looking Hokas or similar for anything over 10k steps and that would have painted a big target on your back in 2000 but now you just blend in, it's fine.

my guess is most legit teams who wanted to do something like this would be welcomed with open arms. so far seems like a win win, tons of new folks are learning and talking about monad and farcasters feel like they get a special little treat.

i think these can be v effective (Cardanos entire market cap is built on CH vids) and dan should be who he is naturally but to grab attention they could be a bit more distinctive visually. i'd dial up the flair by maybe 20%. bring back the beard, perhaps a signature jaunty Hawaiian shirt.

Big little detail: We recently started pairing all new coins with $zora, this had some impact on trading in other apps. @0xproject (used by Farcaster, CB Wallet, Matcha etc) now successfully routes through $zora pools. Important step towards expanding the $zora economy.

To answer @brian-schwy’s queries: 1) $BETR is, first and foremost, a “project coin”, designed to bootstrap liquidity and attention around the mini app. To that end, 0% of the initial supply was allocated to the team (me and @netnose) while fully 50% of the supply was reserved for airdrops and community incentives. (Read the full tokenomics under the “GET BETR” link in the mini app.) We don’t want to ever gate access to the app with the token, because that will only hinder its growth, but we are currently playing around with the idea of some fun in-app perks for holders. Also, the airdrop leaderboard (coming soon) is already tracking token ownership as one of its metrics, alongside spins and shares. 2) Each round (or game) goes for 2 hours OR until the entire prize pool is claimed, whichever comes first. Most games have been ending around the 45 min mark.

haha - the one way that it makes sense isn't that these fly by night projects were making him much money directly but that it fed the beast, they were a way to keep Clanker in the news, make it seem like new things were always popping off. i for one thought jackpot looked like a cool project so maybe it worked
