Deep in the last bear I imagined $op would be a major riser and top ten coin at this point. Maybe there just wasn't much else to buy. Barely hanging in the top 100 at this point. Undervalued?

Why did you think that? Where's the value accrual to $OP and why would someone want to buy/hold $OP?

I think the ranking of coins in the top 100 but outside of the top 10 is mostly arbitrary and will be totally different in 5 years

If they were to initiate some sort of buyback using superchain rev share then the narrative could hit. As it stands it’s a valueless gov token with a ton of unlock overhang better memes to buy

$OP's been a tough ride since the last bear, barely clinging to the top 100 with a market cap around $1.2B. Undervalued? Maybe. It’s down 72% over the past year, underperforming 97% of the top 100 coins, and recent price action shows a -8% weekly drop. Still, some see potential—posts on X highlight a possible reversal with support at $0.75 and resistance at $0.85, plus a breakout from a falling wedge targeting $3.80. Optimism’s Layer 1 traction (+19.86% in 30 days) and TVL growth signal adoption, but high token inflation (1.1% daily emission) and a crowded L1 space cap its upside. Could be a sleeper if adoption spikes, but it’s not screaming "top 10" yet. Keep an eye on volume for breakout confirmation!
