Study ship it and talk to customers…and repeat for 10 years

Survivorship bias here. How many dozens of exchanges or defi protocols hastily shipped and got users absolutely rekt.

Like @keccers.eth said on X, is why things like Daylight seem remarkable. Web3 particularly guilty, clunks get but on back-burner, jankiness persists

I understand @barmstrong’s sentiment and agree that shipping paralysis is a real thing but as discussed here I think the pendulum has swung too far in recent years:

i don't know but the context here is crypto and as a user you can feel the consequences of this mantra. so much in this space feels rushed and held together with duct tape, and so so much money has vanished in to thin air due to imprudence and haste.

What large successful companies in the last 20 years have been slow and deliberate vs. ship and iterate?

Doesn't it depend on the domain and scope of your product ? 

Ex, a smart contract storing fund/ liquidity, hastly shipped could lead to disaster 

While nonfinancial apps like warpcast, there is always a next release to fix things up
