i walked by one of these protests and it was all boomers, literally and spiritually. old, zero libidinal energy, toothless, irrelevant, cringe, sad. no one cares. the mean signs would have been edgy 20 years ago but now read like hokey reddit slop. after overplaying their hand for 50 years that party is in a world of trouble.

Boomers seemed to be over-represented at protests this weekend. I have a few ideas why. Obviously, economic self-interest in social security/retirement policies. But also I think something was activated deep in the boomer brain...

actually had the same observation in manhattan - crowd was overwhelmingly older which i found interesting

In Iran, we have these traitors too, the ones who brought about khomeini’s revolution. They led 85 million Iranians to destruction, and now they’re just a bunch of old, washed up people protesting with wrinkled clothes and placards in hand, only for their own benefit
