Weak lyrics, weak songwriting chops. Same thing happened with the rise of digital recording, everyone thought itβd democratize recording music but instead it just ruined a craft.

"Democratise" usually leads to a feeling of missing crafting master pieces. More production, more trends and stuff makes it hard to find gems. That doesn't mean any artist before were geniuses, either of them now are useless. I know for good you knew this path. Said that. There are still Steve Lacys, Avalon Emersons, Kendricks L, Fever Rays, Rosalias...
