eth is good, i'm bullish but people were burning thousands of $ in gas just to play last cycle, won't have that same kind of buy pressure from retail this time

Not to mention the nfts that were priced in ETH vs now priced in other tokens this cycle. Case in point sales on Ronin priced in $ron vs axies in ETH in ‘21.
