as someone who straight up asked @dwr.eth for a job once and regularly gets tagged in “hire ted” casts or DCs

i’m 10000% aligned with his take on focusing on product and not marketing for growth

in fact, my POV is that it would be dumb AF to hire a marketing team right now

what would they do? what would i do?

last cycle Cardano(no mainnet, no apps) hired McCann Dublin (Microsoft etc.) which played a part in rocketing them from a 1b to 100b! market cap. i appreciate the sentiment but it can make a huge difference in the right conditions. even now my normie friends ask about cardano way more than ethereum.

fair enough, but prioritization is key. anyway, why isn't marketing pushing the fact that there are big rewards for creators here? It could help attract creators, boost product and content creation, and also aid overall promotion !!
