i'm good with the updates, just poking fun at the complaining. the headline is from an anti free speech thing from the atlantic that was making the rounds today.

i'm not a great systems thinker when it come to this kind of stuff but a basic UX change that would be helpful is putting the cast button closer to where the convo happens, or just having an already empty box below the description waiting to be cast in. it's not immediately clear to me that i'm allowed to cast in a channel until i find the button and that's just enough friction that i might move on, not super cozy.
