how do farcasters feel about the mass cancellation of people lamenting trump surviving the assassination attempt via libsoftiktok many are minimum wage workers or adjacent, dumbly boomer posting. obviously idiotic posts, but for a culture that’s ostensibly anti cancellation it feels like retribution righteous or no?

there’s no deportation effort underway currently. under the current government, it would probably be a hate crime/ domestic extremist charge to try; they are actively facilitating these people through financial incentives after all if an effort actually happens, you can find me camping in front of the local recruitment station the night before

ah yes, let me build a coalition of people that will likely be infiltrated by the FBI to undertake an action that the current government will lock us in pre-trial solitary confinement for a few years for. definitely no precedent for that happening. being willing to die for what you believe in still necessitates strategy and knowing the difference between courage and stupidity, at least if there’s any desire for efficacy. even if me and some buddies round up a few of Chicago’s Venezuelans, getting them out of the country is an effort into itself. with the border currently open and financial incentives in place for them to cross again, it would be a self-defeating effort. i’m not interested in lighting myself on fire just to be forgotten about within a week like that kid during Trump’s trial in NY, i’m interested in getting the job done. 10-20 million people won’t be deported without a government supported logistical effort of massive scale.
