Sol ecosystem really benefited from it bottoming out so spectacularly. True believers became whales, nutty folks(affectionate) who still have skin in the game and go ham on new stuff. ETH millionaires who rode down 2018 and back up and invested in defi etc are on private islands sipping mai tais maybe.

yeah that's true, and most of those people are gone gone once they're out.

this is under-discussed imo, tons of extraordinarily wealthy ETH folks which explains a lot of the “ivory tower” cultural critiques (not that I agree 100%)

I also have a theory that many ETH holders round tripped the 2021 run up and have been selling relentlessly in 2023-24 which has kept ETH/BTC down only

it's less about sol at this point and more about why things are the way they are on ETH.

I can’t get over my bias that SOL is exit liquidity for VCs and casino for everyone else so I guess I’ll miss the gains 🤷‍♂️ Lmk if you find anything you think is worth checking out that I’m missing
